Working with Kim was a rewarding experience. Kim really listened to what we wanted and then got things done in a timely manner. Because of Kim's experience, she usually presented less choices for things then more, and that was a great help for me as I don't like too many choices. She was very professional and also very easy to work with. The subcontractors she recommended were great as well. I would highly recommend Kim for any project you are considering!

If you are looking for someone to help with redecorating or to design a new build you can not go wrong with Kim Rice Designs. Kim worked diligently with me listening to my ideas. She and Janet searched tirelessly for the perfect fabric combinations as well as furniture styles for our home. Measuring multiple times to insure the correct scale and proper placement of items, Kim did a fantastic job with sofas, chairs, tables and many other items. Kim is excellent with communication with texts, email and calls. She is very hands on and was with us during every delivery doing whatever was needed to improve our space. We are so pleased with the updating of our furnishings and proud to entertain in our home. You will be happy to work with this highly professional design firm.

R. Designs, LLC and Kim Rice assisted me in selecting exterior house paint colors and new outdoor light fixtures. Kim did a terrific job - visiting the house multiple times, meeting with me and the painters, etc. She devoted significant time to the project. I love the new look for the house - and, notably, I have had multiple neighbors tell me how much they like the way the house now looks. I wholeheartedly recommend Kim.

Review We so enjoyed working with Kim. She helped us update our entire first floor including kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, family room, living room, dining room, front hall and game area. She listened very carefully to our goals for the project and coordinated all paint and fabric colors, flooring, rugs, furniture, lamps, window treatments, art work and decor. She was very responsive to questions, provided excellent recommendations, and kept us informed as the project moved forward. Overall, she exceeded our expectations. We love with the final product and would definitely hire her again for future projects.

Been working with Kim for a couple years to re-furnish our first floor. She did a wonderful job matching woods, fabrics and colors with existing colors in the home and our original art piece. She found and arranged a unique 45 piece glass plate art arrangement that is stunning. Bedding she selected for the master and guest bedrooms are very luxurious. Her selection of custom curtains in the kitchen and the master really finish off the rooms. She is very creative in her choices and has been patient with us as we tend to sometimes need to take a minute to think about things because we don't have the vision like she does. It has been a fun and exciting journey with Kim and we would highly recommend her.

Kim has been fantastic to work with. We were building a house from out of state with minimal knowledge of the area, people, and business. She helped us tremendously with every step. She was patient, knowledgeable, and had fantastic design skills. She decorated our entire home that we are delighted with. We are very thankful to have found Kim.

Kim has done a great job with my condo and outside patio. She listens to what you want in style and color. She will give you several options to chose from for furniture style, color, drapes, carpet, etc. If you have a question about furniture arrival, contractors or anything Kim will get back to you right away with an answer. I highly recommend Kim for any design.

Kim did a fabulous job with several different projects for us. We started with a color consultation for the exterior and interior of our home and I couldn't be more happy with the colors! She also helped us with purchasing carpet for two bedrooms and the staircase which coordinated with the new paint and existing furniture. The carpet has been amazing. Very nice quality! We also put in new light fixtures over the kitchen bar and new sconces on the fireplace...I have received so many compliments and it's amazing what a different new lights came make! We also purchased new bedding (comforter and decorative pillows) for our master bedroom and I will say, I was a bit of a skeptic but I can tell you that I will never go back to typical bedding! The quality is exceptional, the bedding is made specific to the measurements of your bed and it is beautiful! Then we moved on to custom made drapes...I was a skeptic on this too but WOW what a difference. The curtains pulled together the artwork, new custom made bar stools and family room rug that Kim also helped us purchase. It has been over a year since we completed these different projects and I still love walking into my house and looking around! As you can tell, Kim is a full service decorating service and she is amazing at all the different aspects. Thank you Kim!!

Kim delivered a beautiful master bathroom. This was a complete remodel and I was overwhelmed with all the decisions that had to be made. Kim led me thru the initial design options and guided me to a magnificent final design. She was very patient and took the time to step me thru the numerous decisions, and their related impacts to the budget and scheduling. This result would not have been possible without her coordinating the communication lines with the contractors and vendors, and her rapid responses to any concerns that I had during the process. Her attention to detail made a potentially difficult project into a great experience, and I whole-heartedly recommend her expertise in updating your home.

When I first spoke with Kim, I wasn’t sure if I needed a designer or even could afford one. Now on the back end of this project, I know that I would’ve been lost if I hadn’t had her. I know everyone thinks their project is the most important and the most complicated. But she has always made me feel like I was her most valuable client. She has never pushed me further than I needed to be pushed. But she knew when I needed a little prodding. She knew when to take charge when I became overwhelmed. She would handle as much as I wanted her to, but step back when she knew I needed to flex my own muscle. She always made excellent suggestions. Often times she would suggest something that I thought was crazy or way off base. After months of digging and trying to make my own decision, I would come back to exactly what she suggested. This happened over & over. What I learned was that if I had just trusted her from the beginning, my life would’ve been easier and this project would’ve been cheaper. In the long run, she still saved me money. She has all the right connections. She knows all the right people. She has never once steered me wrong. And the best part, is that I genuinely believe that I have made a lifelong friend in Kim.

Kim was wonderful and very easy to work with! I didn’t really know what I was wanting but she read my mind anyway and I absolutely love the results and everything she picked out! Can’t wait to work with her again!
